So it is not detected by bios. Tried different videocards in different risers, they all work, on the 1x slot. I've tried a few things to get it to work. Test all your apps and games and make sure they can detect the nvidia gpu now, put your laptop into integrated (or switchable) graphics mode.

If it doesn't, it's a hardware limitation. The problem is windows 10 isn't detecting any video card plugged into my pcie x16 slots via the pcie risers. Thanks for mentioning this program. So, see if you can find a cheap, used, pci video card on ebay, and that should allow you to have video again. Looks like i may have.
